My own children have been through some of the same things. My oldest daughter shaved my head for me when she was 13,my son 12 and youngest daughter was 6. That was 8 yrs ago. I quit smoking only 3 months ago. I’ve had cancer 3 times all together. Nicotine is a drug! These days it’s made 40% more addictive than it used to be. With price increases I bet they make it more addictive. Please don’t ever start. I will die a slow, painful death because of my bad habit. Habits can be broken!!

Your beautiful family has touched my heart. I’m 39, I lost my mom, age 56 to cancer 7 yrs ago, I have a 15 yr old son who is my life & I laid smoking down 9 days ago because I never want him to go thru what i did losing my Mom. My thoughts & prayers will always be with you.

I am glad you have quit smoking and I encourage you to continue your battle against cigs. We don’t need another story like the one above.
