Every Wednesday night at dailystrength org in the Smoking Addiction and Recovery group, we hold a virtual “bonfire”. At this “bonfire” we toss the cigarettes we didn’t smoke into the fire. We dedicate each bonfire to someone who wasn’t able to quit or quit too late. Tonight we honor your dad and acknowledge the strength of the addiction that took his life. Thank you for sharing his story with us. You are always welcome to come by and say hi and meet the people your dad is helping.

I am sorry. My dad was very much my role model in every way. He is and was the very smartest person I know and I live my life striving to be like him. He was lost to throat cancer not lung but I certainly know how you all feel. He is the inspiration for all of the writing I do and I love him more than I think he knew when he was here. Josh I am very sorry. This is a great video.
